I am a isotope geochemist specialised in using high precision U-Pb geochronology to answer fundamental questions in the earth sciences.  The age constraints from geochronology are fundamental to understanding the rate of many physical, chemical, and biological processes in the past.  These processes can occur at all scales from the atomic, to the planetary to even the solar system scale.  My research focuses on collecting and improving geochronological data and applying it to a multitude of geological problems.
